CZ: Pravomil Raichl (1921–2002) se v roce 1939 rozhodl pripojit ke vznikající ceskoslovenské armáde v zahranicí. Ze sovetského gulagu, kam byl poslán za pokus o útek po zatcení na hranicích, byl vysvobozen rozhodnutím o zformování cs. armády na území SSSR. Prošel z Buzuluku pres Kyjev a Duklu do Prahy, byl nekolikrát ranen a za vojenské zásluhy vyznamenán tremi Ceskoslovenskými válecnými kríži 1939. V roce 1946 odešel z armády. V listopadu 1947 byl zatcen v prípadu tzv. mostecké špionážní aféry, vyprovokované Státní bezpecností a obranným zpravodajstvím, kterou po únoru 1948 nový režim využil jako záminku k prvním politickým procesum. Pravomil Raichl byl jednou ze trí osob (z 22clenné skupiny), které Krajský soud v Praze odsoudil 11. kvetna 1948 k trestu smrti, prezident Beneš ale rozsudky odmítl podepsat (byly zmeneny na doživotí). Byl veznen v Plzni-Borech a v tábore Vojna, odkud se pokusil o útek. Poté byl premísten do veznice Leopoldov, odkud se mu podarilo v lednu 1952 uprchnout (spolecne s kurýrem Štepánem Gavendou) a prejít do Západního Berlína, kde pusobil jako zpravodajský dustojník. Pozdeji odešel do USA. Po roce 1989 byl rehabilitován a povýšen na plukovníka, v roce 2000 byl vyznamenán Rádem bílého lva. Zemrel v Plzni 25. února 2002 (visit link)

EN: In 1939, Pravomil Raichl (1921–2002) decided to join the emerging Czechoslovak army abroad. He was liberated from the Soviet gulag, where he was sent for trying to escape after his arrest at the border, by a decision to form a Czechoslovak army. army in the USSR. He passed from Buzuluk via Kiev and Dukla to Prague, was wounded several times and awarded three Czechoslovak War Crosses for military merit in 1939. In 1946 he left the army. In November 1947, he was arrested in the case of the so-called Most espionage affair, provoked by the State Security and Defense Intelligence, which after February 1948 the new regime used as an excuse for the first political trials. Pravomil Raichl was one of three people (from a 22-member group) sentenced to death by the Regional Court in Prague on May 11, 1948, but President Beneš refused to sign the sentences (they were commuted to life imprisonment). He was imprisoned in Pilsen-Bory and in the Vojna camp, from where he tried to escape. He was then transferred to Leopoldov Prison, from where he escaped in January 1952 (along with courier Štepán Gavenda) and moved to West Berlin, where he worked as an intelligence officer. He later left for the USA. After 1989 he was rehabilitated and promoted to colonel, in 2000 he was awarded the Order of the White Lion. He died in Pilsen on February 25, 2002 (visit link)
