Bowles is situated one mile south of Eridge Station and is owned by The Bowles Rocks Trust, a non-profit making charity. The charity supports children and young people to achieve their potential through outdoor education.

There is a small fee to climb here and this must be paid at reception on arrival. Climbers can pay a daily fee or buy a yearly pass at the reception desk. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads and they must not run free. The centre runs activity courses including climbing, so if asked to move away from a certain climbing area, please do so. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on leads and do not let them roam.

Bowles faces south, meaning that the crag dries quickly in the sun. As a result, the crag can become very crowded on warm sunny days. Bowles Rocks has bolts at the top of the crag, making setting up top-ropes easier, but please still bring long slings. Free parking is also available.

Fees: £5 per adult (£4 after 5pm) or £3 for under 16s. A season ticket can be bought at the office on weekdays or Saturday mornings for £32. (Times could be different during covid restriction times).
