A mega-church of the United Methodist denomination located in far northwest Oklahoma City. It is north of Memorial Rd and the Kilpatrick Turnpike on N MacArthur Blvd. It is listed as having a congregation of over 7500 members.

Founded by Norman Neaves, the Church of the Servant held it's first worship service on Sunday, Sept 8, 1968 on Northwest Expressway with 148 people attending.

from Howard & Associates Architects

The Church of the Servant had out grown their Church in Oklahoma City. A new 20-acre site was chosen that would accommodate their growing membership. Howard and Associates was hired to provide architectural services.

A master plan for a new campus was designed. The churches goal was to glorify God through nature. H&A achieved this goal using natural design elements which included light, water and planting.

Two phases were identified in the master plan. Phase one consisted of a 100,000 sq. ft. building which included a new main sanctuary with seating for 1800. A smaller sanctuary, administrative offices, classrooms, fellowship hall, commercial kitchen, community room and a large gathering space were included.

The building was designed on a hexagon shaped layout. A continuous skylight runs the length of the building. Large expanses of glass windows were used to allow natural light into the building. The use of rock and water features along with planting were integrated into the building to allow a natural feeling throughout the space.

The sanctuary has a contemporary feel created by using meandering free formed seating, large scale plantings, water and rock pools, along with a large skylit glass roof extending to 70 feet in height.

Inside the gathering area is a two story rock waterfall feature. Adjacent to the gathering space a two story opening between the floors with large scale planting and skylights continue to create a natural feeling. The site of the building included the use of earth berms, landscape boulders, and extensive planting.
