It's a plethora of picnic pavilions with up-swept canopies at this Googie infused highway rest stop in Saint Marys, Georgia! A couple dozen of these covered concrete table-and-bench combos are scattered across the property.

It's a plethora of picnic pavilions with up-swept canopies at this Googie infused highway rest stop in Saint Marys, Georgia!

A couple dozen of these covered concrete table-and-bench combos are scattered across the property, each accompanied by a sturdy BBQ grill and small side table. The consistent color theme of dark, earth red tops and creamy yellow supports applies to all the components, except for the grills, which are cast iron seasoned black. Every socially distanced place also includes a dedicated trash barrel.

Concrete sidewalks connect the pads on which travelers dine and relax among scruffy grass and mature pine trees.
