The Ashland Branch is one of ten Pamunky Regional Library locations and it offers free wi-fi among its amenities. Public computers are also available on a first come, first served basis. Per library guidelines, non-residents are offered a one-time, 30-minute use of library computers. There isn't a time limit for wi-fi use with your own devices.

Named for Richard "Dick" S. Gillis, a long time town resident, public servant, and advocate for building the library, this Ashland, Virginia, branch opened in 1997.
