This bell is a part of the museum's collection of copper and bronze objects. It was cast by the Marcel Michiels Bell Foundry, Tournai, Belgium. The small plaque indicates that it was a church bell and there are two religious icons cast into the sides of the bell. The cradle includes the yoke which originally supported the bell and the wheel which appears to have been chain activated.
