Baptists in the Cooper Creek community constructed this fine little frame church in 1916. The church gained a steeple and a new sanctuary in 1961. Having outgrown this small building, it was moved across the street and the present church constructed on the former location. A brief history of the church is given on a historical marker in front of the building.
