On Saturday, June 27, 2020, all fire engines of the Waalwijk fire brigade moved to the new fire station at Groenstraat in Waalwijk.
The new construction of the fire station cost more than 6.6 million euros. The new barracks will have a regional function and will soon also have a daytime occupation, so that the emergency service will be able to deploy more quickly.
