The purpose of this cross is to advertise the Lutheran Church, which is located at the top of the hill east of this sign and cross.
This is on the edge of church property, and a billboard sign erected by the church to advertise itself.
The cross itself is wood, and a little over 6 feet tall, with a plywood cut-out of Christ mounted on the front.
Very unusual and almost child-like strange.
