Hillsboro Cemetery has been in existence since 1896 and is located at the intersection of Charles Town Pike and Hillsboro Road. The Chapel once stood in the middle of the cemetery but over time the cemetery expanded and it is no longer at the center, though it is still the first landmark you see after going through the entrance gate. The Cemetery Chapel itself is wood on a brick base with a chimney to provide warmth for those on a cold winter day. There has been a small extension to the building that seems to be for storage purposes.
