In my travels I am content with the basics - a comfortable bed, good AC (this is Arizona after all), solid Wi-Fi, and a desk and chair for the laptop. If I'm staying more than one night a 'fridge and microwave are essential. While the daughter turns up her nose at my usual selections (and one notes that she's not the one paying the bill), they are good enough for me. Executive Inn hit most of the right notes, and with an unusual bonus for a budget motel - an in-room jacuzzi tub! And they also have an outdoor pool which was open and available on my visit.
