Évora is one of the places in Portugal considered UNESCO World Heritage Sites and there are plenty of historical elements. Door knockers are interesting here, and this one, made in metal, has the shape of a hand.
It should be from the early 19th Century, considering the building (a classic upper middle class home from those days) and the history of the area. Sadly the whole building is derelict. But the door knocker, despite some rust, is still intact.
