Overlooking the Northern Hessian county capital and medieval city of Homberg (Efze), the Hohenburg was the stronghold for many centuries in this area. Inside of the ruined castle, the local castle association plant the old herbal garden new, for demonstrate use of of herbs and plants in medieval cooking and supply.
