This 80' obelisk, a replica of the Washington Monument, is the centerpiece of the Washington County Veterans Memorial, about five miles south of Washington, Kansas.

This 80' obelisk, a replica of the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C., is on the west side of Washington County Veterans Memorial Airport, and is part of the memorial there. The obelisk is set in a triangular base defined by low white brick walls, and filled with white rock. According to a plaque on the obelisk itself, it was erected by the Washington County Rotary Club as their Centennial Project. You can read more at the site linked below.
