This Greek Orthodox Church is on the west side of Pennsylvania Avenue, just north of NW 145th Street. Oklahoma City's Greek Orthodox community formed in 1914 when a few families joined together for community and worship. In 1920 they purchased a small building at NW 8th and Western to serve as a church. This fine new building, a blend of both modern and traditional style elements, was constructed in 1984.
