Jeff Davis Park is located on the east side of Rush Springs, on East Blakely Avenue. The park is the site of the annual Watermelon Festival. In the park is a natural spring rising from Rush Creek. The spring is actively used by local residents to obtain the cool, refreshing water to drink.

The spring has a long history, having been one of the popular watering stops for cattle being driven from Texas on the old Chisholm Trail. The spring produces 72,000 gallons of water a day, which rise to the surface, and return to the Rush Creek.

An appropriate Scripture has been etched into a stone alongside the spring, reminding us that God supplies our needs, as He does with this spring.

Trust in the living God
who giveth us rightly
all things to enjoy.
I Timothy 6:17
