The Nellie G. Allen Curiosity Shop is a thrift store that supports the Soroptimist International of Seaford (SIS), it was created in 1961 and was renamed in 2002 in honor of one of the SIS founders. In addition to the thrift store, there is office space for the SIS housed in the same building. There is ample parking all around and the building sits in front of the Soroptimist Park.
From a nearby marker: "Members opened the Curiosity Shop in downtown Seaford on March 25, 1961, to support the SIS mission. The store relocated to a larger space near Soroptimist Park in 2002. SIS renamed it the Nellie G. Allen Curiosity Shop in honor of one of the shop's original founders."
