Roy's Hickory Pit BBQ opened in 1982 and has been a favorite here since then. Of course they smoke their own meat, and it's worth a trip just to stand behind the store at the smoker and smell the delicious goodness there. You'll find Roy's on the north side of Nickerson Boulevard, between Buchanan and Pierce.
