Op de rotonde ten noorden van Geldermalsen aan de Kostverlorenkade en Rijksstraatweg moeten automobilisten zich niet laten afleiden. Sinds 2015 staat er namelijk een grote houten fruitkist met de naam van het dorp.
In de kist staat de ANWB-richtingwijzer. Het idee is van landschapsarchitect Stan Elings, vertelt woordvoerder Co van Leeuwen van de gemeente.

This enormous fruit box, together with two other works of art, creates a 'fruit circle' around Geldermalsen.
Motorists should not be distracted at the roundabout north of Geldermalsen on the Kostverlorenkade and Rijksstraatweg. Since 2015, there has been a large wooden fruit box with the name of the village.
The box contains the ANWB direction indicator. The idea comes from landscape architect Stan Elings, says Co van Leeuwen of the municipality.
