Op het van Egmondplein staat op een ronde sokkel een bronzen beeld van een haas die naar boven toe kijkt, naar de sterren. De sculptuur heet 'Sterren van Weleer'. Bij de sculptuur is een plaquette geplaatst. Hierin staat dat de sculptuur is gemaakt in 2012 door Yvonne Visser. Het is in nagedachtenis aan het vroegere theater Rondeel, een nabijgelegen filmhuis en theater dat in 2005 is gestopt. In de mantel van de haas zijn daarom ook teksten van toneelwerken verwerkt. Het is een markant beeld op de noordelijke ingang van de oude stad Wijk bij Duurstede.

On the van Egmondplein there is a bronze statue of a hare looking up at the stars on a round pedestal. The sculpture is called 'Stars of the past'. A plaque has been placed next to the sculpture. It states that the sculpture was made in 2012 by Yvonne Visser. It is in memory of the former Rondeel Theater, a nearby art house and theater that closed in 2005. The hare's cloak therefore also contains texts from stage works. It is a striking statue on the northern entrance of the old city of Wijk bij Duurstede.
