Sigma Nu founded at the Virginia Military Institute on January 1, 1869. At Penn State the charter was granted December 22, 1908. Originally, 340 North Burrowes was built and referred to as the Delta Delta Lodge. Today, we just call it home. After catching fire and burning out in the 1960’s, the house was remodeled to its current state. The house sits on the west side of campus directly across from Waring Commons and immediately next to Alpha Zeta Fraternity and Rec Hall.
