Wildlife Crossing Project, CO HWY 9, North Overpass - south of Kremmling, CO, USA - Man-made Animal Bridges and Crossings on Waymarking.com

CO HWY 9 connects Silverthorne to Kremmling with the Eagles Nest National Wilderness area (one of eight in the White River National Forest) to the west of the highway with other public lands to the east. Hunting, fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities are critical to the economy of the area. This highway is the first test of wildlife crossings in the state (see plan and map: (visit link) ).
