StudioZ is the creation of Zonly Looman, a local artist with a striking collection of artwork. His Native American background can be readily seen in his artwork. His work includes oil paintings, as well as custom painted shoes, and he designs and provides tattoos. Though only in business a few years, he has a long list of exhibits and achievements.
In front of his studio, there are three abstract pieces. One is a gold buffalo; another is angel wings, and then there's this amazing piece. When you see paint this color in the store, you wonder - Who would paint something THAT color!! Well, Zonly Looman would. This is the brightest hot pink you've ever seen.
The sculpture is about 8 ft. high and 8 ft. from tail to trunk. It is completely made of bicycle parts, ingeniously welded together to look exactly like an elephant. The curved trunk, reaching out in front is made from the curved shank of a girl's bicycle frame. It is quite a sight to see.
