This is the nearest bus stop to the town's war memorial which was cleaned as part of the commemorations for the centenary of the war.

The shelter is made from wood which was painted an orange colour. The top of the shelter has the phrase 1918 LEST WE FORGET 2018.

Inside the shelter is a silhouette painting of a scene from the war. A landscape is painted black with crosses marking some graves and men walking past. Two men in front are carrying a wounded soldier on a stretcher, heading towards a church.

In the top left hand corner is a large poppy, the symbol often used to commemorate the war. The walls have a number of panels with information about men of the town that died during the war.
