This is located at the Andres Institute of Art in Brookline, NH. This large sculpture garden is made of several trails that lead to the summit of a mountain. There are over 150 works of art that line the trails, most of them abstract.

About the artist:
"Batu was born in the Republic of Georgia in 1960, He earned a graduate degree in sculpture from the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Art and an advanced post-graduate degree from the All-Union Academy in Moscow.

The years immediately following the collapse of the Soviet Union, 1990-1995, were the most difficult years for Georgia. The fight for independence and the civil war left Georgia at the edge of devastation. Professional people, such as artists, suffered the most; there was nothing for them. Batu and his wife, a painter, together with their three year old son, had the opportunity to leave Georgia for the United States. Since coming to the U.S. as an “outstanding artist” in 1994, Batu has become a US citizen. He has continued his career as an artist and teacher. He has taught sculpture and drawing at several U.S. universities.

Over the last decade Batu has won numerous sculpture competitions throughout the world, participated in sculpture exhibits and symposiums in the USA, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Austria, Netherlands, China, Greece, Turkey, India, Russia, and Georgia. His works are held in museums, private collections, and in permanent outdoor displays in the United States, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, India, and Georgia.

Batu lives with his wife and two children in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is chairman of the sculpture department and head of the graduate sculpture program at Boston University. In addition, Batu is a member of the Board of Directors of Contemporary Arts International."
