A hand-forged weather vane with a plowing farmer was installed on the observation tower at Ballebjerg near the small village of Nordby on the northern half of the island of Samsø. Horse, plow and farmer sit in silhouette made of metal on the stabilizing part of the direction indicator, on the other half there is an arrow. Below is the direction indicator with the four Danish letters N for north, Ø for east, S for south and V for west.
