Ryggåsstugan (Translation: "Ryggås" is the type of roof construction and the "stugan" is cottage =Roofcottage ). The cottage was built in 1721 by "Ebbe Nilsson" in a little village "Gånarp" approximately 4km from today's place.
In 1921 the cottage was donated to the Nordvästra Skånes folkhögskola so the cottage was dismantled in gånarp and rebuilt in Munka-Ljungby the same year.
In the donation, there was money (200Tkr) for repairs and maintenance for many years.
