This YMCA is located on the corner of West 10th and Peach Streets in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania. One of four YMCA branch locations in Erie County, this YMCA has gymnasiums, racquet ball courts, and a swimming pool. The YMCA of Greater Erie was founded in 1860 and the downtown YMCA building was constructed in 1910. A stone plaque on the side of the building states, "This building erected by the people of Erie to the glory of God the honor of Jesus Christ and for the welfare of men."
