"In 1902 the Council of Vigo approved the water supply plan for the city, which at that time had about 35,000 inhabitants. It was about capturing the liquid from four Bembrive springs, a work that was complicated due to logistical but also administrative problems. The Water Supply Company was in charge of managing the exploitation of the flow, carrying out the distribution from a deposit located in the Castro hill, whose construction was also approved in 1902."
