While this part of North Texas has grown considerably in twenty years, bobcat sightings are still actually quite common in the suburbs. Remember, though, that they're not Felis catus, and typically, they're more frightened of you than you are of them. Just give them some space if you have an encounter.

This sign provides a nice photo of a bobcat on the prowl, along with a physical description and some background as to their eating habits, their activities, their capabilities, and their lifespans. Their paw prints are depicted as well: Compare them with the faux footprints you see in the pavement, giving the illusion that the nearby sculpture left them.

Visit Instructions:
Take a photo of yourself (and others) at the waymark and feel free to share any additional information or that is not contained on the sign or your experience generally.
