Retired obstetrician Joseph Carlyle Smith (born 1919) began making abstract sculptures in his yard in the 1960s as a way to relax. He has passed away. The property has been sold to J. Lyle Medical Clinic and the Smith's artwork has been preserved as decoration in the area surrounding the clinic.
This art is a head on a chair which is the seat of a very strange trike with wheels of three different sizes.
