I 2002 åbnede det første og hidtil eneste Ronald McDonald hus i Danmark. Her kan familier til alvorligt syge børn bo, mens deres barn er under behandling. Der er plads til 12 familier, der har deres eget værelse. Desuden er der et stort fælles spiserum samt legerum til mindre søskende.
In 2002, the first and so far only Ronald McDonald house opened in Denmark. Families of seriously ill children can live here while their child is being treated. There is room for 12 families who have their own room. In addition, there is a large common dining room as well as playroom for smaller siblings.
