The merry-go-round that turns the heads of children, but also of adults, has been given a facelift. After thirty-five years of service, the Legagneur family which owns it, had all the machinery redone and modernized the concept while keeping the retro style of the carousel, and especially the Camargue "brands", bulls and horses. Noble materials, exotic woods, were used, as well as new technologies that allow young users to be interactive. A nice novelty: the "box for grannies" which allows you to remain seated on the first floor, to watch the children. Eric Legagneur, a fairground with a family tradition, was happy to show the black and white photos of the merry-go-round that belonged to his father and to present the new one to the mayor, elected officials, and his merchant friends. A tour of this new merry-go-round was offered before the aperitif offered on Place Espace Paul-Ricard. A return to childhood that everyone was delighted to share. The Saintes-Maries carousel is open all year round and every day, for the pleasure of young people from Saintes as well as many tourists.

Le manège qui fait tourner les têtes des enfants, mais aussi des grands, a fait peau neuve. Après trente-cinq années de service, la famille Legagneur qui en est propriétaire, a fait refaire toute la machinerie et moderniser le concept tout en gardant le style rétro du carrousel, et surtout les "marques" de Camargue, taureaux et chevaux. Des matériaux nobles, bois exotiques, ont été utilisés, ainsi que les nouvelles technologies qui permettent aux jeunes utilisateurs d'être interactifs. Une sympathique nouveauté: la "loge pour les mamies" qui permet de rester assis au premier étage, pour surveiller les enfants. Eric Legagneur, forain de tradition familiale, était heureux de montrer les photos en noir et blanc du manège qui a appartenu à son père et de présenter le nouveau au maire, aux élus, et à ses amis commerçants. Un tour de ce nouveau manège a été proposé avant l'apéritif offert sur la place Espace Paul-Ricard. Un retour en enfance que chacun a été ravi de partager. Le carrousel des Saintes-Maries est ouvert toute l'année et tous les jours, pour le plaisir des jeunes saintois mais aussi des nombreux touristes.
