My wife and I happened upon an eye catching garage sale sign the other day and stopped for a look. One of the first things we noticed was the old tree that had been turned into a fairy house, complete with wee door. Next to the door is a fairy who looks like she may be about to walk up the stairs to join the outdoor fairy party. Around the tree is a well designed arrangement of rocks, plants, Gnomes and other treasures.
We spoke with the creator of the fairy tree and she was pleased to hear we had taken some photos. She told us the fairy figures on the raised patio and the one at the door were a set she had given to her mother many years ago. The fairies came back to her house when her mother passed and they moved into the tree when most of it had to be cut down.
