Made of wood, a life-sized black bear stands at the final resting places of two veterans, Carl Ray and Charlene Sellers, in historic Fairy Cemetery, Fairy, TX.

This black bear might be a little thin, but it's life-sized, standing about six feet tall on a tree stump with a concrete base underneath. The bruin is either in launch or attack position, with its front paws raised high, and unfortunately, is beginning to split in a few places. It's impossible to make out his eyes at this point, but his mouth is slightly open.
