"Marie Dostalová (July 15, 1877 Prague-Veleslavín - March 27, 1903 Prague) was a Czech painter.
Painter Marie Dostalová came from an artistically based family. Her mother was the actress of the Prague Provisional Theater, Marie Horská-Kallmünzerová, and her father was the factory owner Leopold Dostal. Her brother Adolf Bohuslav was a writer, Karel was an actor and director, sister Hana was also a painter and sister Leopold was a famous actress at the National Theater in Prague. Marie attended Ferdinand Engelmüller's private painting school. Marie Dostalová died very young after a long illness in 1903. She is buried in the Olšany cemeteries (Olšany, VI, 10b, 21).

A high-quality tombstone by the important Czech sculptor Stanislav Sucharda gives a strong impression, and the patina and the surrounding ivy also contribute to this.
