Dickey's is a chain of several hundred locations, based in Dallas, TX, with a few locations overseas. If you don't phone in your order, you can simply order at the counter and ask for your food to go. You can do plates. You can do sandwiches. You can order food by the pound. You can do family packs. Your selections are brisket (chopped or sliced), pork ribs (of which they are very proud), pulled pork, turkey, chicken, ham, polish sausage, salads, baked potatoes, and spicy cheddar sausage. They also have a kids menu, and the kids can eat free on Sundays. There are numerous sides, with the usual suspects like a variety of beans, slaw, and potato salad, along with baked potato casserole, Caesar salad, mac and cheese, chips, green beans, fried okra, waffle fries, and fried onion tanglers. Soft drinks are available, and if you plan to have room after your meal, they have a small dessert menu.
