"Rentals for the summer season are accepted starting in January.

There are five shelters at Benedict Park,

Benedict Park Shelter #4 operates on a first-come, first-served basis while Benedict Park Shelters #1, #2, #3 and the Splash Pad shelter may be reserved May through Labor Day weekend.

Shelter #3 is adjacent to the restrooms on the east side of the park, just west of the ditch, which runs on the east boundary of the park. There is seating for 24.

Shelter #2 is most easily accessed from Skeel St. It is adjacent to a playground, just east of the elementary school. This shelter has seating for 32 people. Parking is limited during the construction.

Shelter #1 is adjacent to the parking lot off of Southern Street. It is adjacent to a playground on the south end of the park. There is seating for 32 people.

The Splash Pad Shelter is located off of Skeel street and is adjacent to the splash pad. Reservations are for the shelter only, and not the splash pad itself. Rates for the splash pad shelter are $85/$105 resident/non-resident.

Reservations

Reservations available for dates in May through Labor Day weekend.
Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance.
The shelter is cleaned by 10 a.m. Limited electricity at this location.
Payment is due at the time of the reservations, no refunds for inclement weather.
No music permits allowed at this location.
Special permit required for Bounce Houses.
Fees to reserve a shelter are: Resident - $65 / Non-Resident - $75
