Pyramid-shaped monument erected for Jørgen Bjelke can be seen near Nidaros Cathedral.
The pyramid is built of granite stones in various sizes and is about 3 meters high.
On one side there is a portrait in bronze of Jørgen Bjelke and a sign with the following text:
"1658 - 1958
Lieutenant General Jørgen Bjelke
Raised by Trøndere in memory of his efforts in the reconquest of Trøndelag. Revealed on the 300th anniversary of the Norwegian troops entered Trondheim on December 11, 1658"
