DE: In Schleswigs Altstadt befindet sich auf dem Dach des Hauses "Fuß am Holm 1" in etwa 4m Höhe eine kleine Gaffelketsch (ein zweimastiges Segelboot) aus Metall als Richtungsgeber auf dem Dach. Die Besegelung, die Takelage und weitere Details am Boot wie zum Beispiel die nachwehende Flagge und ein Anker wurden liebevoll herausgearbeitet. Unter der Ketsch befindet sich das Richtungskreuz, welches einer Kompassrose nachempfunden ist.

EN: In Schleswig's old town there is a small metal gaff ketch (a two-masted sailing boat) on the roof of the house "Fuß am Holm 1" at a height of about 4m as a direction indicator on the roof. The sails, the rigging and other details on the boat such as the flag and an anchor have been carefully worked out. The directional cross, which is modeled on a compass rose, is located under the ketch.
