The Katy Trail crossed the Missouri River her, and pases right by the Hotel.
About 3 blocks away is the Boonville Trailhead for the state park in this are. Across the river ais another trail head.

This is the longest Rail-to-trails route in the country. from Machen (NW of St. Charles on the Missouri River) to Sedalia, almost to the western border of the state. Boonville is about half way for either end.
