This glass bridge-adornment was commissioned from Teresita Fernandez, who received a MacArthur Foundation "genius" fellowship in 2005. Her cloud design plays off the Seattle stereotype of continual overcast while at the same time projecting a burst of vibrant color on the grayest of days. At night the piece is illuminated with electric lights and glows warmly. Be sure to check out the full photo gallery to see all of the fun pictures we took.

The piece measures 9 feet 6 inches by 200 feet by 6 feet 3 inches and was purchased with Seattle Art Museum acquisition funds.
