The stone serves as a memorial for all veterans that served our nation since World War II. There are twelve different wars/conflicts listed on this stone memorial, Korea is one of those twelve.
The engraving on the stone reads:
"On This Hallowed Battlefield We Recognize
The Men And Women Who Gave Their Lives
And To All Veterans Who Served Our Nation
Since World War II With Honor, Courage, And Dignity.
Dedicated To The American Veteran." Then there is a list of the wars/conflicts with dates of duration.
