Schon seit mehreren Jahrhunderten besteht eine Verbindung zwischen Walsum und Orsoy.
Die Fähre „Glück Auf“ ist die erste motorisierte Rheinfähre auf dem Abschnitt zwischen Walsum und Orsoy. Sie pendelt seit 1958 zwischen den Rheinseiten.

There has been a connection between Walsum and Orsoy for several centuries.
The ferry "Glück Auf" is the first motorized Rhine ferry on the section between Walsum and Orsoy. She has been commuting between the two sides of the Rhine since 1958.
