Den ældste del af bygningerne er opført i 1886 og er efterfølgende tilbygget i 1905, 1915 og 1941. I 1986 forlod DSB stedet og overlod det til Bevaringsforeningen Gedser Remise. I dag findes der er jernbanemuseum her.
The oldest part of the buildings was built in 1886 and was subsequently extended in 1905, 1915 and 1941. In 1986, DSB (Danish State Railways) left the site and handed it over to the Conservation Association Gedser Remise. Today there is a railway museum here.
