Keremeos This family of coyotes, Mama coyote and three pups, have obligingly arrayed themselves around this rock pillar in which we assume they live, within the nooks and crannies therein. While Mama coyote has climbed to the top of their abode, in order to howl at the moon, the three pups are busily engaged in those things that coyote pups are wont to do. One of the pups appears to be trying its hand at howling at the moon, as well.

This coyote family can be found just east of the southeast corner of Keremeos' Municipal Hall, AKA Town Hall. The entire sculpture appears to have been carved from a section of a very large, very old tree, species unknown. The carving appears to be fairly old, as a couple of the coyotes bear very large cracks and the "rocks" have many vertical cracks.

Neither a signature nor a date was found on the sculpture.

Keremeos' Municipal Hall, AKA the Town Hall, can be found just south of the Crowsnest Highway as it meanders through town. On 4th Street, the Municipal Hall is opposite Memorial Park, the major park in the village, with most of its recreational facilities.
