"Objective of the museum

The museum shows the natural and cultural history from just before the Saint Elizabeth flood to the present day. In addition to the landscape history of the present Island of Dordrecht, with regional professions such as fisherman, duck decoyer, rush planter, reed cutter, pilot whale worker and farmer, the special, but also the more general, natural values ??of this wetland tidal area are amply discussed. The museum also houses the Nature Information Center and the polder center of the Nature and Bird Watch"
