Flèche unique Église-Sainte-Anne
L'église est coiffée d'un toit brisé à trois versants. La couverture est en tôle à baguettes, tôle recouvrant la flèche du clocher. La tour-clocher est centrale; on peut admirer la symétrie des ouvertures cintrées, l'ornementation, dont les chaînes d'angle harpées, les bandeaux de pierre de la tour, les archivoltes des ouvertures avec leurs clefs de voûte, la niche à statue au sommet de la tour, les corniches à modénature accentuée, les motifs de fronton sur la tour et la flèche, les pièces d'amortissement couronnant les angles de la façade et de la tour, les arcades géminées de la chambre des cloches, les motifs en ressaut ou en creux ornant la flèche
Les origines de la paroisse de Sainte-Anne remontent à 1843, à l’époque où McLeod aménage ses premières scieries, attirant ainsi un flot de nouveaux colons qui chercheront à s’établir. Les paroissiens se sont d’abord regroupés autour de l’église, sur le cap Saint-Joseph et le long de la côte Sainte-Anne, y formant ainsi le premier noyau urbain.:https://ville.saguenay.ca/

[EN] The church has a broken roof with three slopes. The cover is in sheet metal with rods, sheet metal covering the spire of the bell tower. The bell tower is central; one can admire the symmetry of the arched openings, the ornamentation, including the harped angle chains, the stone bands of the tower, the archivolts of the openings with their keystones, the statue niche at the top of the tower, the cornices with accentuated moldings, the pediment motifs on the tower and the spire, the damping pieces crowning the angles of the facade and the tower, the twin arcades of the chamber of the bells, the protruding or recessed patterns adorning the arrow
