Deux à deux, face à face : donnons-nous la main et jouons sur la place!

Deux personnages grandeur réelle tentent de se regarder l’air de jouer, essayant de se découvrir, cherchant à capter le regard de l’autre en s’extrayant légèrement de l’enceinte qui les accueille. Inspirée de la statuaire traditionnelle, l’œuvre fait écho à la nouvelle vocation culturelle du bâtiment en évoquant l’idée d’expression, de gestes et de mouvements propres aux arts de la scène et au théâtre.

Two life-size characters try to look at each other as they play, trying to discover each other, seeking to catch the gaze of the other by slightly extricating themselves from the enclosure that welcomes them. Inspired by traditional statuary, the work echoes the new cultural vocation of the building by evoking the idea of expression, gestures and movements specific to the performing arts and the theater..
