Point Judith Fishermen's Memorial in Narragansett, Rhode Island, honors more than 50 people who lost their lives at sea. Nestled on the southern shore of Point Judith, the site looks over the Atlantic Ocean where fishing vessels continually pass by. The plot has two levels; a lower, paved court to the west, and a slightly elevated and larger garden section to the east.
A stone compass rose can be found in the middle of the upper section lawn at the top of the steps. One dozen pink granite segments form the main background of concentric rings. N, S, E, and W are carved into the outer quarters. Eight dark gray pieces of stone lay within and each points to a cardinal or ordinal direction. The dial is enclosed by a circular garden bed, circumscribed by gray granite blocks and filled with low plants and bark mulch.
The memorial is free and open to the public. There is plenty of parking immediately west of the location.

Note: Do not confuse this site with the similarly named Fishermen's Memorial State Park and Campground which is an entirely different place, about 1.5 miles to the north in Narragansett's Galilee village and only open to campers.
